Win Tickets: Eat and Drink Festival 2017, Manchester

Eat and Drink Festival 2017
Eat and Drink and Ideal Home Show – two festivals under one roof

What better way to relaunch my site than with a little giveaway? The Ideal Home Show is returning to Manchester in June , and this year has a mini festival in its belly: Eat and Drink Festival.

Eat and Drink is promising all the current trends in food – from what’s hot in street food to home cooking techniques to make your friends green with envy.

The Foodie Lab is the demo theatre where you’ll find all sorts of demos from the likes of Aldo Zilli  and an amazing local pastry chef called Brett Pistorius. The Drinks Station will welcome experts in everything from Italian wine to gin.Eat and Drink Festival 2017

The Chefs Table will allow you to break bread with fellow foodies and maybe even some chefs. The Artisan Market should be a great place to mooch and shop for treats to take home, and when you’ve worked up an appetite The Great Eat will be full of street food vendors to send you home happy.

And of course, being part of The Ideal Home Show means that you can plan your dream kitchen while you are there too- there is a dedicated kitchenware area with some fantastic brands exhibiting.

  1. I drool over all the lovely cakes! I’ve only ever been to the shows in Winter where there is a Christmassy theme, so I’d love to visit the Summer one!

    • Ooh I’ve never been at Christmas Ellie, sounds lovely though. I am hoping to inspire some colour changes in my own kitchen!

  2. Oh this couldn’t come at a better time. I’ve been looking for an excuse for a Manchester break. My mum has been angling to go to the ideal home show for ages and I’d just like to get some cooking inspo and good daughter brownie points!

    • Hi Kat, I think Manchester needs all the love and visitors she can get so it would be great if you brought your mum #welovemcr

  3. I’d love to knock the wall down between our kitchen and dining room and put an Island in our Kitchen. We have had the plans drawn up and Im hoping this year is the year we get to do it!. I would be looking for cool Kitchen items and handy tips from chefs :-).

My firend went to the last Ideal home show at manchester and said it was fab so I’d love to pop along xx

    • I’d love an island too Tina! There is an area just for kitchen accessories so that would be ideal for you!

  6. I would love to see if there are any colourful splashbacks to go behind my cooker and I am on the lookout for a coffee machine!

  7. This sounds amazing! My dream kitchen would be a big old fashioned cooker with wooden work tops and lots of cupboard space! For lots of food and all my pots and pans! E x

    • That sounds divine Emma. Wooden tops look great- you have to oil them though. Thanks for popping by and good luck x

  8. I need inspiration for a new kitchen and have wanted to visit the Ideal Home Show for years
