You’d think it’d be pretty hard to get crisps wrong, but when I sent my hubby party snack shopping recently he came back with cocoa & rum and brie flavours. Neither a particular success, the cocoa was particularly repugnant! I’ve never seen so many people pull their noses up at crisps before!
So we were looking for a potato based super hero when this perfectly timed parcel arrived from Burts Chips. 
The firecracker lobster wasn’t a flavour I’d come across before but after the weekend’s debacle I was prepared to try anything!
Forget any misgivings about the prawns cracker crisps of old (even though that’s what the pink packet will immediately make you think about). The firecracker lobster is a fully rounded flavour and not at all synthetic. The Devonshire chilli gives just a little heat. 
They’ll make a great snack for the coming cold months and make a welcome change to the usual, more traditional flavours. Firecracker lobster has restored my faith in trying new flavours. You’ll find the cocoa crisps in the bin!
