It’s cheese time people!
You only need to have had a cursory glance at She-Eats to know that I love cheese, and that the International Cheese Awards are a firm part of my social calendar. Last year I was invited to judge for the first time, and I am thrilled to be back for more of the same this year.
The International Cheese Awards are the world’s biggest cheese show, with over 5,600 items entered in 2017, they are hoping that this year could be even bigger. Taking place at Nantwich showgrounds, the judging day is the precursor to a massive public event on Wednesday 25th July.
Visit The International Cheese Awards and Nantwich Show
The doors open to the public on the 25th July, giving you access to both the International Cheese Awards marquee and the Nantwich Show.
There are over 450 trade stands, a shopping and caft marquee, livestock displays, countryside pursuits and vintage cars, tractors and machinery.
Over in cheeseville, James Martin will once again be giving demos in the cheese kitchen (his demos are bookable separate to your main ticket FYI) along with spots from chefs Will Holland and Jonathan Harrison, as well as cheesemaking Corrie star Sean Wilson.
Win a family ticket to the International Cheese Awards and Nantwich Show
Tickets are now on sale for this year’s show, and are cheapest if you buy in advance. Buy yours before you go here.
Even better, I have a family ticket for two adults and two children to give away.
Closing date: midnight 14th July 2018. Enter via the Rafflecopter widget below. Open to UK entrants only and you must be over 18 because cheese is to be enjoyed responsibly!
Good luck and good cheesing!
